Stephen Hickey
Hickey & Associates

Stephen Hickey is the Founder and President of Hickey & Associates, Inc. Hickey & Associates, Inc is a full service property and casualty independent insurance agency located in Warwick RI.

Since 1889 Mr. Hickey has provided healthcare providers with complete protection for their practice and their good name.  This includes, but not limited to, Medical Malpractice, Business owners Policies and Workers Compensation programs.

Beginning in 1990 when the State of RI required all business to purchase workers compensation insurance, Mr. Hickey has contracted with many companies to provide the best coverage and premium for the RI healthcare market. His expertise in this area has allowed him to speak to the RI Society of CPA’s and the RI Society of public Accountants, as well as local dental organizations. 

Matt Morrell
Healthcare Compliance Network

Matt Morrell has over 10 years of experience in interpreting and implementing regulatory requirement.. He holds a degree in environmental science and engineering from Roger Williams University, and is a Certified HIPAA Security Professional (CHSP). In his current role at Healthcare Compliance Network (HCN), Matt works with physician practices to ensure they are in compliance with the most current federal, state and local regulatory requirements.

Parking & Directions

The meeting will take place in the RI Medical Society’s office, 405 Promenade Street - Suite A, Providence (in the RI Blood Center building).   Please pull into the Blood Center’s large garage and park in any open spots.  You may not park in spots with signage for Blood Center donors or employees, or for HARI employees.
Upon entering the garage, you will immediately pass the Blood Center’s public donor entrance on the right; RIMS’ well-marked entrance is a few yards farther along, also on the right.  There is additional parking in outside lots adjacent to and behind the parking garage.

Continuing Education Units, CEUs

Earn up to 1.0 continuing education unit hours for each hour of education from the ACMPE, American College of Medical Practice Executives. Our events are eligible for continuing education units as awarded by other professional associations. We recommend that you contact your professional association for their approval process.
