About the Speakers

John S. Gannon is an associate with Skoler, Abbott & Presser, P.C., and practices in the firm’s Springfield, Massachusetts, office. Since joining the firm in 2011, John has defended employers against claims of discrimination, retaliation, harassment, wrongful termination claims, as well as actions arising under the Family Medical Leave Act and wage & hour law. John also has experience with lawsuits seeking to enforce restrictive covenants and protect trade secrets.
John frequently assists employers in litigation avoidance strategies. He has reviewed numerous employee handbooks and related polices for compliance, as well as employment and non-compete agreements. John has also conducted comprehensive wage & hour and employment practices audits. He regularly counsels employers on compliance with state and federal laws, including the Americans with Disabilities Act, Fair Labor Standards Act, and Occupational Health and Safety Act.

Brad has over twelve years of experience working with entrepreneurial companies to develop and deliver information technology products and services to the healthcare industry. After managing numerous revenue cycle and operations transformation consulting engagements for large academic medical centers and managed care organizations, he then served as a strategy consultant for a venture capital firm in Zurich, Switzerland assisting their biotech and pharma portfolio companies to enter various international markets.
Brad’s area of expertise has been Practice Management IT strategy. His core focus at Culbert Healthcare Solutions has revolved around support for Practice operations. He has developed and implemented innovative approaches to mitigating risk of IT implementation, while maintaining physician productivity and Revenue cycle performance throughout the EHR PM system implementation.
Jill Berger-Fiffy MHA, FACMPE

Jill has extensive experience in practice management including patient access, clinical and revenue cycle operations, strategic planning, project management, as well as practice and business development. Throughout her 20 years of experience, Jill has worked in integrated delivery networks, academic medical centers and large group practice environments. Jill estimates she has recruited and on-boarded in excess of 150 providers.
Jill achieved her fellowship from the American College of Medical Practice Executives (ACMPE/MGMA). She served as President of the MA/RI MGMA and has served in a variety of leadership roles since 1993.

Ms. Britcher has extensive executive coaching, human resources and organizational consulting experience, and has held leadership roles inside corporations including Thomson Financial Software Solutions and the law firm Mintz Levin Cohn Ferris Glovsky and Popeo. She also has extensive management experience, managing groups of 60 employees.
